Located high on Beech Mountain, the Beech Alpen Inn is complete with breathtaking mountain vistas. The back lawn is a beautiful place to lay in a hammock and read a good book, or host a party underneath the pavilion, complete with it’s own majestic fireplace. There is plenty of space for young ones to play, and deer are common visitors, offering you a chance to see wildlife in your own backyard. In summer, the emerald lawn is perfect for picnics and horseshoes.
By fall, the leaves have begun to don their flaming colors as they prepare for the cool weather. And in winter, the cosy inn becomes a snowscape, ripe for snowball fights, and hot cocoa. The inn is the High Country’s own little piece of the Alps, and it’s location makes it prime for skiers. You can easily walk to the Beech Mountain Resort ski slopes and enjoy a day of snow sports. There are also many hiking trails around the inn for those who like to immerse themselves in nature’s splendor. You can even have a nice meal on the porch of the Alpen Restaurant and Bar!
