Friday evenings gathering of many happy folks, saw also a great Blue grass concert at the pavillion. After a well needed rain saturday the sun was back on sunday afternoon just on time for Murphy & Mains wonder full performance in the outdoors. August 29 the King Bees will be back on the Mountain. The weather forcast is perfect but cooler around 65F. Please bring your jacket.
August kept the temperatures still in the mid 70’s with a lot of sunshine and too little rain. Wonderful for beeing outside in the shade.This weeks summer sunset concert will feature the favorite Harris Brothers again and lots of folks will come up again too relax in our cool evenings, away from the heat of the valleys.
Many days in the upper 70’s with lots of sun made craving for AC a rare reality on Beech Mountain! Many ” outdoor folks ” were relaxing in the cool indoors. At our July 25 concert at the pavilion with the “At the Corner Band” it cooled down to the lower 70’s again and the hikers and bikers will have pleasant temperatures for the rest of July.
The excellent weather saw a great number of happy folks partying at the beech alpen indoors and outside. This Sunday 07/11 we are looking forward to an enjoyable concert with the Harris Brothers. Like always we are expecting many friends of this well known band to enjoy their summer sunset concert at the Beech Alpen Pavilion!
This Saturday and Sunday the well known Shane Pruitt Band performs at the Beech Alpen Pavilion and our beautiful Mountain Meadow. Our folks will have a good time with great music and the great food and drinks served from the Alpen Restaurant and Bar. All American Burgers and Hot dogs are served in the Mountain Meadow. The weather forcast could not be better. So come on up, bring a friend and enjoy the cool outdoors on the top.
The first outdoor wedding on the mountain meadow and the first summer sunset concerts saw many happy folks on Beech Mountain and the Beech Alpen Inn. The extension of our parking lot was greatly appreciated!
The Hummingbirds are back on the feeders.The bears are awake and waiting by the kitchen door. The good Beech Mountain summer folks will not be far behind. It’s time to open again for a new summer season.
We are closed for spring cleaning and maintenance. We will reopen for the summer season on May 6, 2010 and hope seeing you again in summer on our beautiful Beech Mountain and our summer sunset concerts.
The Beech Alpen Inn is booked full for this weekend March 20/21 and after that from March 24 to May 12, 2010 we will be closed for vacation. We would like to thank all our guests for this great winter season. Looking forward to seeing you this summer on our beautiful Beech Mountain with our summer sunset concerts.
